I, Maitry Shah, founder of LakshMe, would like to extend my heartiest wishes to all of you for believing in us and being a part of LakshMe’s journey for the past 1 year. We have successfully completed 1 full year with what started as an effort to educate Indian women about financial matters and have turned into a full-fledged reality. 

I have met multiple people in different spheres of my life right from my MBA days in New York and have encountered various women feeling shy, confused and often ignorant when it came to financial matters. I even saw women take the back seat allowing their male counterparts to take financial decisions, even on their behalf. What was the women’s involvement – NONE!

I have always believed in financial independence for women being fiercely financially independent myself. I also believe that women should have the financial acumen to integrate themselves into their family’s financial decisions. Moreover, for today’s career-oriented women, financial literacy is important to make their money work for them.

These beliefs have motivated me, along with the entire team at LakshMe to be dedicated to making women financially literate and Aatmanirbhar.

The LakshMe website offers a complete educational package for women learning the ropes of the financial world. There are articles, videos, financial markets updates, the latest news, inspirational stories and whatnot. Moreover, when you connect with LakshMe on its social media platforms, you get to experience a host of activities like polls, quizzes, knowledge nuggets, jargon simplified, fact files, etc.

A monthly offering that highlights what has happened over the month, articles, videos and nuggets of wisdom on financial literacy. We started She.ksha Newsletter to build a community with our subscribers, spread awareness and improve financial literacy. 

LakshMe Community

Connect with fellow women in their financial journey with the LakshMe community, a WhatsApp group of more than 100 women wherein regular updates are shared.

Online workshops on financial topics so that you can gain hands-on knowledge and deeper insights. Workshops with a practical approach will serve as a ready reckoner and assist her in taking the first step in financial matters.

• With the workshops we have conducted during the year, the reviews have been impressive. About 100% of our attendees agreed that our workshops enhanced their financial knowledge. Moreover, they also believe that our posts about finance are quite informative.

We want to hear you speak. That’s why we are conducting a financial literacy survey to understand how we can serve you better. The survey intends to find the value-addition that we can bring to you with our content.

Offline workshops:
We are also in the process of starting physical offline workshops to connect with you.

With our podcasts, you can listen to financial stories, articles and news on the go.

Interviews:
We intend to interview more women to assimilate more inspirational stories for you to start your financial journey on a positive note.
